It was a career change that saw Greg Coombes and his wife Nicola make the move to Geelong from New South Wales, and the couple say they could not be more excited about building their dream home at Watermark.
Watermark’s amenity and surroundings provided the pair with a chance to be situated right near the surf and sand. Originally from Wagga Wagga, the proximity to some of Victoria’s most renowned destinations like the Great Ocean Road and the Bellarine Coast really appealed to the couple.
“We like to be able to go down to the beach and go kayaking on the weekends in summer. It’s fantastic that we have the ability to do this now, as we’ll be just ten minutes down the road from the beach,” Coombes said.
“One of the things that attracted us to our chosen block was its location near a communal park and barbeque area with a walking and cycling track”.
Greg says the scheduled infrastructure and amenity on offer at Watermark also helped convince the couple to make the big move.
“It really is the ideal location for us, as the train station is just five minutes down the road and we’re close to Geelong’s town centre,” Greg says.
